Rocksteady

                                                                          Rocksteady

Each week, children from across the school participate in music lessons with Rocksteady Music School. From electric guitars and keyboards, to singing and playing the drums. The children work as part of a team to learn a new pop or rock song song each term. At the end of each term, they put on a concert for the school and their own visitors. Below are some photos from the most recent concert. It was amazing!

If your child is interested in joining Rocksteady, please contact the school office.

There is also the chance for children to attend private piano lessons with a tutor who runs her sessions in school.

Children have been on a bus trip in the local area and there have also been visits to Woburn Safari Park and Cambridge Botanical Gardens.

The school often visits St Mary's Church for Eucharist and Harvest Festival and,in addition to this, some classes visit the church as part of their RE lessons.

The school receives regular visits from members of St Mary's Church and the Baptist church in Godmanchester. Mr Busk runs assemblies each week and the Baptist church come in to run Prayer Space workshops and they also do some work with Year 6 children about their transition to secondary school in the Summer Term.
